A portfolio film capturing the museale haven of the Maritiem Museum, where Kinkorn brings the story of Rotterdam’s maritime past into a spatial, immersive experience. The project transforms the harbour into an environment where visitors don’t just observe history, but move through it.

In this film, I focused on translating that experience into a visual narrative. Rather than documenting individual elements, I approached the space as a continuous whole—where interior and exterior, object and story, flow naturally into one another. Through rhythm, framing and sequencing, the film reflects how visitors navigate the harbour and gradually uncover its layered history.

The result is a film that emphasizes beleving over explanation: a portrayal of how heritage can be experienced in context, and how a place can communicate its past through movement, atmosphere and connection.
