A portfolio film capturing a series of landscape viewers developed by Kinkorn, designed to reveal the hidden narratives of the Pannerdensch Canal. The project places storytelling directly within the landscape, inviting walkers and cyclists to uncover the history of water management on site.
Under every landscape lies a story that goes beyond what is immediately visible. Kinkorn makes this visible by bringing heritage back to where it originated—into the landscape itself—allowing visitors to discover it in their own way and at their own pace.
Through specially designed viewers, the surroundings gain context and coherence. Along the Pannerdensch Canal, four installations together tell the story of water management, from its origins to its significance today.
In this film, I focused on translating that layered experience into a visual narrative. By following the rhythm of the landscape and the act of looking itself, the project becomes a way of connecting past, present and future—giving places a voice that can be experienced rather than only explained.
